Elkhart, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.
What you will do: The Controls Engineer will support the engineering team for job quotation, design, start-up, build and install. This role will write and program detailed system functional specifications based upon proposal documents and provide engineering support to quote new jobs, work with customers during design and startup. This position will perform electrical software work for new or special products, as well as research and design of new controls circuits and write programs and debug of software as it relates to the design of new equipment.
What you will need: BSEE in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Current experience in advanced system design within an advanced manufacturing environment. Programming skills using ladder logic, flow charting or other high level languages. Experience in AutoCAD, Siemens 7 and/or Allen Bradley. Ability to design hydraulic, pneumatic, lube and coolant systems.
