Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of automotive electronics and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for an Internal Auditor.
What you will do: The Internal Auditor identifies weak internal control systems, plans, controls, and carries out process-oriented audits in all divisions of the company, nationally and internationally, in close coordination with the corporate audit management, and defines audit work programs. The position completes on-site audits, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and processes and checking the prescribed working procedures, while also interviewing business teams about working practices, testing of systems and procedures. The role discusses the audit findings and observations with risk owners and management, including making recommendations, prepares written reports expressing opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the system or function under review, and presentation of findings to affected managers in order to eliminate weak-points, and assesses operational action plans (basis for follow-up audits). Additionally, the Internal Auditor collaborates on continual improvements of the auditing processes and of reporting procedures and reports to Corporate Audit Management overseas.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Finance. Current experience in internal auditing within a manufacturing company. Experience with SAP. Knowledge of Lotus Notes. Spanish bilingualism – MUST. Internal Auditing certification. Some experience with investigations/fraud strongly preferred. Ability to travel up to 50% in North America and Mexico.
