Movement Search & Delivery, a professional headhunting firm with a global reach, has recently acquired the assets of Automotive Search Consultants and have expanded their operations into Traverse City and Kalamazoo, Michigan.
In just over 10 years, the firm has grown from a staff of 3 to over 50 headhunters, and an additional 40 billable consultants who work for MOVEMENT’s clients on contractual assignments. With this most recent announcement the firm now has four offices in Michigan: Clarkston (HQ), Royal Oak, Traverse City, and Kalamazoo; as well as offices in Charleston, SC and Phoenix, AZ.
Automotive Search Consultants was founded 15 years ago by Steve Klein. He is a veteran of 23 years in the search industry; specializing in all manufacturing industries with deep ties within the Tier I automotive community.

Jeremy Smith, a Sr. Headhunter with 7 years at MOVEMENT, will head up the operation in Kalamazoo, MI. Mr. Smith is also a seasoned 20+ year veteran of the search business, managing some of MOVEMENT’s largest and most prestigious clients.
Smith adds, “I was born and raised in the Kalamazoo area so it was a natural fit for me to move back here and help MOVEMENT build our client base around all of the great companies and people on the west side of Michigan.”
