Movement Search & Delivery, a professional headhunting firm, has recently opened an operation in Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan as the company continues to experience tremendous growth as a result of the demand for recruitment services for companies coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their newest office in Grand Rapids is anchored by two veterans of the recruitment industry, Patrick LeBlanc, Managing Director and Daniel Gabriele, Sr. Headhunter of Staffing Services. Both joined the firm over the past year, along with several others as a result of MOVEMENT’s aggressive campaign to hire highly-skilled, experienced recruitment professionals during the depths of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I have known the folks over at MOVEMENT for quite a few years and I knew one day we would join forces when the time was right,” adds LeBlanc. “In 2020, my previous firm was downsizing and furloughing during the Covid 19 lockdown, then MOVEMENT called and said they wanted to expand their footprint into Grand Rapids and they needed someone to lead and build the team, so the timing was perfect.”
Shortly after the hiring of LeBlanc, Mr. Gabriele was brought on board and together they bring over 40 years of recruitment experience to the growing team in Grand Rapids. Gabriele comments, “I actually grew up with Doug Scott, one of the firm’s owners. We hadn’t spoken for over 30 years, but we connected again a couple of years ago and we found out both of us have been in the 3rd party search business for most of our professional lives. I also knew it was a matter of time before we would work together. I am thrilled to be a member of this incredibly dynamic team here at MOVEMENT.”
The recruitment firm has experienced torrid growth in 2021, with revenue and placement activity up 60% from the 1st half of 2020. Along with the expansion into Grand Rapids, MI., MOVEMENT has opened offices in Asheville, NC, Sarasota, FL., Traverse City, MI., and Kalamazoo, MI. in the past year.
MOVMEMENT currently employs 60+ Headhunters in 9 locations throughout 5 states. Additionally, the contract staffing division employs dozens of consultants on key project-based assignments throughout N. America.
