BREAKING RECORDS, EXPANDING HEADQUARTERS, AND BEING COOL

Crain’s Detroit recently recognized Movement as one of the Coolest Places to Work. Movement ranked #12, earning this designation from surveys submitted by their employees.

Movement Search & Delivery, a professional headhunting firm with global reach, hit the ball out of the park with another record-breaking year. “Year after year we crush our goals and 2014 wasn’t any different. Within five years, Movement has grown to become an $8.4 million dollar company, that’s a 30% increase from 2013,” boasts Doug Scott, General Manager of Movement. The Clarkston, Michigan based recruitment firm doesn’t show any signs of slowing down in 2015.

Last summer, Movement unveiled the expansion and renovation of their headquarters in Downtown Clarkston and plans are already in place to expand further. “Movement will soon begin our third expansion project in the Clarkston Mills building,” adds Scott, “you can expect another summer bash to reveal the additional space.”

Movement enjoys entertaining their employees, families, friends, and clients. In fact, the Movement team will be heading to the Detroit Renaissance Center this weekend for their annual meeting. Ryan LaForge, Director of Contract Search Services comments, “We look forward to this event every year. The entire staff comes together to review 2014 performance, 2015 goals, and to hear the anticipated announcement of our annual incentive trip destination. Afterwards, we celebrate during an evening cocktail and dinner reception with our spouses and guests.”

Crain’s Detroit recently recognized Movement as one of the Coolest Places to Work. Movement ranked #12, earning this designation from surveys submitted by their employees. The results were compared against hundreds of other companies that were also vying for this distinction. “Our team is what makes Movement such a cool place to work. Of course, the bubble hockey tournaments and happy hours don’t hurt either,” jokes Chris Cross, Director of Movement’s National Recruitment Practice.

Movement’s cool factor is soon extending to the candidate experience as well. The headhunting firm is creating a cutting edge portal on their recently updated website. This tool will provide a unique and sophisticated experience for candidates to view and apply to hundreds of open positions the firm currently has with their clients. “We have a physical presence opening soon in Charleston, SC with the Candidate Recruitment Center (CRC). This Recruitment Center will have a candidate centric emphasis using the new website portal,” states Doug Scott. “The CRC will house several headhunters whose focus is to generate candidate interest for our clients’ openings throughout North America and globally. We have invested a lot of resources and technology into this operation; I believe it’ll be a game-changer for us.”
