Movement Search & Delivery, a professional headhunting firm with global reach, recently held their annual summer party for their employees, families, clients and leaders of the Clarkston community. The event tabbed, “Friends of Movement” was much larger than previous years as the firm showcased the renovations of their headquarters after five months of construction. “We had over 200 people come through to help us celebrate our newly renovated digs,” said Doug Scott, General Manager of Movement. “All of us needed to blow off a little steam. There were a lot of distractions due to the construction but in the end I think we all agree it was well worth it.” The recruitment firm now occupies over 7,600 square feet in the Clarkston Mills building that features a “Headhunter Comfort Center” that includes a modern kitchen, lounges, exercise and entertainment facilities. “We offer our employees a very unique environment here at Movement,” adds Scott. “Movement’s mission is to always be the most preferred place for Headhunters to work in the industry.”
The Clarkston, MI recruitment firm also recently announced the winners of their incentive contest that rewards them and their guests an all-inclusive, four-day, three-night trip to Las Vegas. There were twenty winners; all of them exceeded their billing targets for the first six months of 2014. Movement will be staying at the award-winning Aria Hotel and Casino. The trip will include private receptions, day trips for roller coaster rides and go-cart racing. Guests will be provided private pool-side cabanas, their choice of some of the most popular Las Vegas shows along with exclusive access to the hottest night clubs on the strip. Perhaps one of the highlights of the trip includes a ride on the new High Roller Ferris Wheel, the largest in the world, where Movement will have a birds-eye view during sunset of the entire Las Vegas landscape. David Bradley, Managing Director comments, “One pod on the High Roller will be able to accommodate our entire group of 40 associates and guests; it should be an awesome team bonding moment and a one-of-a-kind experience for us.”
In further news, Movement is preparing to launch their newly-designed, updated web site sometime in August 2014. The firm is again working with the folks at Pluto and their web design team at Dapper, a newly formed division of Pluto, dedicated to digital branding and marketing solutions. The web site’s former HTML format will be replaced with Word Press system architecture that allows for a much more dynamic and interactive user experience for desktop, tablet and mobile applications. The web site will also feature Movement’s unique branding that better represents the culture, image, and capabilities of the firm. “The original web site gave us instant credibility in the market during our first five years of our start up phase and it served us well,” states Doug Scott, “however the images our clients and candidates saw were generic and not unique to us. Our headhunting service offerings will still be clearly highlighted: from permanent placement, to contract staffing, and managed services. We are also taking our connections with relevant social media to another level.” Scott adds, “However, now as you move around on the new site, everything is distinctly Movement, and that’s a good thing because no one in the industry is branded quite like us.”
